KICK ALMOST COST THE MATCH AND SERIES

SA scrumhalves seem obsessed with box kicks. Faf de Klerk's stupid box kick at the end of the match gifted possession to the Irish, who then camped on the Bok line for the last two minutes. De Klerk had to make a try-saving tackle, but his box kick almost cost us the match and the series. RUGBY FAN

USE THE CORRECT NAME

ALGOA FM, please will the DJs call our national rugby team the Springboks not the Springbucks? They have been the Boks for more than 100 years. Come on chaps, get with it! MARK

PITY MADONSELA CAN’T STAY IN OFFICE

SUCH a pity about Thuli Madonsela. She is an unbelievably courageous and heroic crusader for the rights of all the people in South Africa and when she goes she will be sadly missed by the majority. Only the scum of the earth will rejoice at her departure. TURNBULL

NO GOVERNMENT OWNS ME

“URGENT need for change” (June 24) – Yoliswa Yako, since the day I was born I have been free and that is more than 60 years ago. The people who ran the country at that time did not own my body, soul or mind nor will this one. About owning land, how can anyone own land that belongs to someone else? I mean the land belongs to the Khoi-San people, not to those who claim to own it. That is the story that must be told so that all of us can live a happy life and enjoy our freedom.

NUMBERS CAN’T BE TRUSTED

WRONG lotto numbers – The Herald apologises for any inconvenience (“Powerball numbers wrong”, June 27). That does not help someone who has thrown out the winning ticket. Will it happen again? You may as well stop printing the numbers, as they can no longer be trusted. MALCOLM C
