WITH Neil Hendricks leading from the front, Aryan A defeated their B team 9-2 in the Nelson Mandela Bay table tennis premier league this week.

Callies eased past Livvie Alumni A for a 9-2 victory, with Selvan Sammy (Callies) excelling to win all of his games.

Booysens Pride defeated Madibaz A convincing­ly 9-2 as Devin Langford and Monde Cola took control.

In the first league, things heated up as log-leaders Rockets A took on champions Madibaz B.

The varsity side, with Philo Moodley winning all his matches, won 7-4 to go to the top of the log.

Livvie Alumni B defeated Madibaz D 6-5 in a tight game.

Oluseyi Adebowale (Madibaz D) kept his team in the running, winning all his games.

Aryan D easily defeated Madibaz C 10-1, thanks largely to Jason Bailey and Kabeer Choonara.

In the second league, Shine-on narrowly defeated Rockets B 6-5.

Xolisa Melese (Shine-on) won all of his games.
