Rowing teams in good form

GREY High Rowing Club had a good weekend at Knysna for the two-day Midway Classic Regatta.

It was an Eastern Cape versus Western Cape clash, where provincial rivalries were once again ignited.

Day one’s racing was over 1 000m sprints, where Grey’s first sculler, first double and first quad all won.

The rest of the club fared really well with the crews gaining good results, which added to the points total.

The second day saw 56 boats entered in a head race format over 4km for U15 and U16 crews, and 6km for seniors.

Grey’s U16A quad won their division race, so showing good promise for the future.
