DEMOCRACY HAS SPOKEN

I AM disgusted by the behaviour of certain Americans. Trump won fair and square. All the Democrats’ dirty tricks backfired on them. Why can’t they accept the fact that democracy has spoken?

DISGUSTED

TRUMP won. Well done! Now there will be a man of strength and integrity in the White House, not guided by the politically correct. God bless America.

REALIST THE Americans should count their blessings and be grateful that they are saddled with Donald Trump and not Jacob Zuma! JAX

HUMILIATION BY SANDF DEPLORABLE

THE humiliation that Alta Smit had to endure at the hands of the SANDF is deplorable. I pray for justice and healing for her and her children.

JAY JAY THANKS to Judge Glenn Goosen for following up on his court order and protecting Alta Smit’s rights.

HARVEST JOBURG FLOODWATERS

WHY can’t water from the recent floods in Gauteng be harvested? There is no stormwater drainage system in Johannesburg. This is an annual occurrence. Does water from the drainage systems in the rest of the country reach our reservoirs?

BALL-HANDLING PRACTICE KEY FOR KINGS

KINGS are working on their fitness and skills, good and well, but the coaches must remember that spending hours in the gym helps very little. All gym work should be done in the off-season. Rugby is played with a ball and without it a team will defend most of the time. So the more a team handles the ball (with speed ) during practice, the better their skills will become.

UNFAIR TREATMENT OF THE LITTLE GUY

THE education department owes R5-million, yet they let it get to that. But we the household consumers get cut off if we are a few days late! We are not credited for the weeks of no refuse collection and having to pay the skip. Catch a wake up and start doing, Mr Trollip. Ward 5 councillor, are you out there somewhere?

CLERKS NOT PERFECT

“PREPAID meter blocking fiasco”. Mr Crowhurst, even the DA cannot guarantee perfect clerks.

ANY CHANCE OF ICC WARRANT FOR ZUMA?

NOW that SA has withdrawn from the ICC, hopefully they will put out a warrant for Zuma’s arrest.

MISTREATED BY TRAFFIC INSTRUCTOR

TRAFFIC instructors are rude and selfish. I have never been so embarrassed and mistreated as when I had to go to Willowmore twice to do my driver’s licence with a group of people. We were totally abused and made to fail in a reckless way. My question is: does a traffic instructor have a right to ask a driving school instructor about the weak points and strong points [of a candidate] before testing?

YELLOW POSTERS STILL UP

MORE old yellow election posters are still up in Heugh Road between 5th and 6th avenues, and at the corner of Main and Crane roads. Fine the culprits.

I KNOW that the 1c, 2c, and 5c pieces are “extinct”. But the 10c pieces ? KFC Fiveways does not give 10c pieces in change. If you don’t keep this monetary piece, then please adjust the prices.
