Chance to grab share of R1m – with just one hand

THE “Win a Million” cricket catching competitio­n hits Port Elizabeth tonight when the Warriors host the Highveld Lions in the T20 Challenge at St George’s Park.

Fans will be hanging onto the edge of their seats and ready to grab a chance of winning their share of R1-million.

The competitio­n is open to all South Africans and to qualify a fan must catch a clean one-handed six.

The newly designed “Warriors Cricket” app is now also available and fans who download it will receive a free ticket to the next Warriors home match.

In addition to the “Win a Million” competitio­n, one lucky Warriors fan who downloads the app at the match on Friday will have the opportunit­y to win with the Warriors “Bring your A-game to our game” competitio­n.

The person drawn will have the opportunit­y to catch three balls hit by the Warriors’ 12th man.

For every ball that is caught the fan will win R2 000. In addition to this, the Warriors will donate R1 000 to The Herald’s Christmas Cheer Fund for every catch taken.

The Warriors will host Black Friday in Castle Corner, where fans can get two for the price of one for three overs in the first innings and three overs in the second innings.

The promotion will run only in Castle Corner. Tickets for the match are on sale at the stadium and www.ticketpros.co.za and are R60 for adults, R30 for scholars and pensioners, with a special student price of R40 (with student card).

The gates open at 4pm, with the game due to start at 6pm.
