GREY High School will host a four-day first-team cricket festival with 16 top schools showing off their skills around Port Elizabeth from tomorrow.

At the end of last year, Affies were ranked the top schoolboy cricket team in the country and they will be attending the festival along with Glenwood, Selborne, KES and the hosts, who are all ranked in the top 20 in South Africa.

Six of the schools had representation in the SA Schools and SA Colts teams selected at the end of the Coca Cola Khaya Majola Schools Cricket week.

Grey High (Matthew Breetzke and Lutho Sipamla) and Grey College led the way with two players each in the schools team, while Woodridge (Jade de Klerk) and Affies had one each.

KES (two) and Somerset College had players in the colts team.

The festival begins with one game tomorrow as Grey High play King Edward.

The rest of the fixtures will begin on Thursday. Grey High will again play KES on the Pollock Oval while Affies face Glenwood on the Philip field.
