HAUNTED WALK

JOIN legendary Port Elizabeth historian Rose Trehaeven on a haunted walk and hear about some of the ghosts of Port Elizabeth. The two-hour tour covers about 1km and the last two this summer will be held today and on Thursday. The group leaves from The Club at 12 Bird Street at 7.30pm promptly. PUNK BAND EP RELEASE

JOIN local punk band Undead Generation when they release their “free EP” and bid farewell to their longstandi­ng bassist Matthew Daniel Erasmus on Saturday January 14 at Pool City Walmer from 7pm. Other acts to perform at the show will include The Cottonfiel­ds and melodic metal band All We’ve Known. Admission is R30 (complete with Free Undead Generation EP at the door upon request). CAR BOOT SALE

PUPPET SHOW

THE Petite Boss at 6 Stanley Street, Richmond Hill, will be putting on an interactiv­e marionette/ puppet show for children aged five years and older daily until January 15. Operating times are 10am until 12 noon. The children are able to build their own pizzas with Chef Bruno and Froggy while enjoying the marionette/puppet show. ART EXHIBITION

THE Nelson Mandela Metropolit­an Art Museum and the Friends of the Art Museum are presenting a Just Painting exhibition that runs until February 3. Some mixed media works are also included. GALERIE NOKO

Galerie Noko in Russell Road has the New Now Next exhibition running until January 30. It aims to give up-and-coming artists an opportunit­y to showcase their work. Artists aged between 18 and 34 submitted three to six original works that have not been shown before. Gallery hours are 10am to 6pm on weekdays and 10am to 4pm on weekends.
