TWELFTH NIGHT AWARDS

PEMADS’ annual Twelfth Night Awards ceremony, which this year will also celebrate the 100th birthday of the society’s honorary life president, Denzil Levy, is being held at the Pemads Little Theatre at the Athenaeum in Belmont Terrace tonight at 6 for 6.30pm. Stage lovers are invited to don a musical theatre character costume and enjoy a cocktail function with music by singer Marelize Booyens Barnard. There is a R30 entrance fee, payable at the door, and a cash bar will be available.

CENTRESTAG­E PARTY SHOW

CENTRESTAG­E’s Ultimate Sing-Along Rock ‘n Roll Party Show, featuring the music of Status Quo and Creedence Clearwater Revival, is at the Boardwalk Amphitheat­re tomorrow at 7.30pm. The six-piece Centrestag­e All-Star Band is fronted by Wayne Kallis. Tickets are at Computicke­t at R150 (R130 for eight or more). VALLEY MARKET

A TRIBUTE to The Eagles at the Boardwalk Amphitheat­re tonight is modelled on two of the band’s famous reunion concerts – the 1994 concert and their 2005 Farewell Tour. YOGA COURSE

THE popular aQuellé Ocean Racing Series returns to Hobie Beach on Sunday morning for the second half of season 12. The series offers seven simultaneo­usly run events. There are four swim events (400m, 1km, 2km and 3km distances) and three beach events (5km run, 5km walk and Kids 12 years and under 1km beach run), all starting at 9am next to Shark Rock Pier. INTERACTIV­E PUPPET SHOW

THE Petite Boss at 6 Stanley Street, Richmond Hill, will be having an interactiv­e marionette/puppet show for children aged five years and older daily until next Sunday January 15. Operating times are 10am until 12noon. The children are able to build their own pizzas with Chef Bruno and Froggy while enjoying the marionette/puppet
