BIRDING OUTING

BIRDLIFE Eastern Cape is taking a trip to the Van Stadens Gorge and Lady’s Slipper Mountain on Sunday. Meet at 5.45am at Schultz’s, West Street, Newton Park. The group will bird the bottom of the Van Stadens pass for forest birds, then drive up the back of the Lady’s Slipper to the tower at the top where fynbos special birds occur. INTERACTIV­E PUPPET SHOW

THE Petite Boss at 6 Stanley Street, Richmond Hill, will be having an interactiv­e marionette/puppet show for children aged five years and older daily until Sunday. Operating times are 10am until 12noon. The children are able to build their own pizzas with Chef Bruno and Froggy while enjoying the marionette/puppet show.
