SUMMERWOOD: There is mixed bowls on Thursday. Tabs in by 8.45am. Women play on Tuesday mornings, tabs in 8.45am. Men play on Monday afternoons, tabs in by 1.45pm. League practices have begun and club competitions are on the boards. Visitors are always welcome.

WESTVIEW: Playing sessions: Wednesday 8.50am for 9am. Saturday 1.50pm for 2pm. Sunday 8.50am for 9am. Cutthroat bowls on Friday 9.15am. Last week’s winners were Manie Grobbelaar and Pam March. UITENHAGE: We congratulate Alex Schwartz, Rudi Herbst and Wihan Visser who have been selected to represent EP in the Warwick SA U30 interdistrict tournament to be held in Bloemfontein in April. Tomorrow at 5pm the MSC Crazy bowls competition will be held for full members only. A league practise had been arranged against The Woods on Saturday. Players consult the notice board for the teams. Winners of the Uitenhage SUPERSPAR Pro10 competition: K Visser and King Barnard. Attendance draw is R300. Winners of chicken and egg draws: Manfred, Aubrey, Marnie and King.

EP BOWLS: Mixed Pairs finals played this past weekend and gold went to Hilton and Jenny Cherry (Woods), silver went to Niel Colyn and Charlene Burger (Graaff-Reinet) and the bronze went to Barbara Coetzee and Dave Morton (Woods) and Hennie Slabbert and Dalena Muller (Woods). EP Bowls Personal Trust Men’s and Women’s Weekend Leagues start on February 11.
