Ideas hungry to win again tonight

STRUGGLING Young Ideas will be looking to clinch their second consecutive win when they play Mdantsane Mighty Bucks in an ABC Motsepe League fixture at Motherwell’s NU2 Stadium tonight (7pm).

Ideas will go into the game oozing confidence after their 3-1 won against FC Buffalo last weekend.

A win tonight could help the Motherwell side move away from the relegation zone.

Ideas are rock bottom on the log – 11 points from 16 games. They are level on points with Morning Stars but Stars have a better goal difference.

The team is only a point away from safety.

Kwazakhele side Morning Stars are similarly desperate and will be looking to collect the full three points against Mthatha City.

Stars have been playing impressive football lately, but have just been unlucky picking up the necessary points.

The game against City will not be easy as both teams are hungry for points.

Last week, Stars put up a brave show against league contenders Future Tigers despite losing 4-3.

Callies and Lion City will be looking for nothing less than the full three points as their fight for the top spot continues.

City are third on the log with 32 points, while Callies are right on their tail with 30 points.

Fixtures:

Today, 6pm: Highbury v Future Tigers (Gelvandale Stadium), Morning Stars v Mthatha City (Zwide Stadium); 7pm: Young Ideas v Mdantsane Mighty Bucks (NU2 Motherwell Stadium). Tomorrow, 3pm: FC Buffalo v Matta Milan (North End Stadium), EC Bees v City Lads (Bhisho Stadium), WSU v Lion City (WSU, Ibika), Matatiele Professionals v Tornado (Thandani Stadium), Callies v Subs (Gelvandale Stadium).
