WITH just one more week to go until entries for The Herald Bride and Groom 2016 close, take a closer look at one of the amazing prizes up for grabs for the winners of the competition.

With an overall prize value of R12 540, the winners can look forward to a relaxing stay at Kuzuko Lodge in the northern section of the Addo Elephant National Park.

It forms part of a prize package worth more than R100 000 which also includes jewellery from Francarlo Designer Goldsmith, a hair package from Ultimate Stylists, flowers from Pollen, a six-month gym membership from Viva Gym, a four-night cruise from MSC Cruises, a private dinner from The Beach Hotel and a 12-month subscription for The Herald newspaper.

Kuzuko Lodge general manager Catherina de Lange said the lodge was excited to be involved in the competition as it had been exhibiting for some years at the annual Herald Boardwalk Bridal Fair.

“Because of the quality of visitors to the event, we thought it a good investment and a privilege to be involved with the competition,” De Lange said.

Built on a hill with stunning views, the winners will stay in one of the luxurious chalets and, according to De Lange, enjoy “attentive service with stargazing at the night sky; day and night game drives and bird watching. These are just a few of the ways in which you could truly experience a (place so untouched by man)”.

Standing out from the rest, De Lange said Kuzuko Lodge, also known as Place of Glory, was founded as a community upliftment project.

“The staff have shares in the company through a workers’ trust and therefore everyone will look after you as if you are their very own guests. It’s definitely a true five-star home away from home experience,” she said.

The prize for Kuzuko Lodge includes: Two night’s accommodation; Two Karoo finger lunches; Two dinners; Two breakfasts; A morning game drive; A sundowner game drive; One-hour couples massage. Entries are open to all couples who were married between January 1 and December 31 last year and who live in The Herald circulation area.

Here is how to enter: e-mail ONE photograph only to: fembride@times media.co.za by noon before the closing date next Friday, February 10, with “The Herald Bride and Groom 2016” in the subject field.
