Newly revamped Kyalami to host rip-roaring year

-

KYALAMI Grand Prix Circuit will host three actionpacked motorsport events, as well as various lifestyle events this year.

First up is the Motorsport Festival on April 21 and 22, which will incorporate the Extreme Festival and will feature premier national and regional fourwheeled categories on the day.

The Motorsport Festival will return again for another round on November 4 and 5.

To end the year, Kyalami will host the return of historic motorsport with the Classic Car and Historic Racing Festival on December 1 and 2.

As well as enjoying racing action at the circuit, fans can look forward to a variety of lifestyle events at the superbly revamped Kyalami track this year.

The South African Bike Festival, powered by Discovery Channel, makes a welcome return from May 26 to 28.

Back by popular demand, the festival returns to electrify fans with motorcycling mayhem and will once again offer three days of action for all ages.

Visitors can look forward to the debut of South Africa’s top 1 000cc superbike riders, as they battle it out in two rounds of the Super GP Champions Trophy series on the Saturday and Sunday of the festival.

The journey that began with the successful staging of last year’s SA Festival of Motoring continues this year under the banner of the SA Motoring Experience, powered by the SA Festival of Motoring.

The festival, from September 1 to 3, will provide for on-track experiences with increased test drive opportunities. The Naamsa-approved national motor show will incorporate the Johannesburg Boat and Water Show.

For music and food lovers, the DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival returns to Kyalami from September 30 to October 1.
