ALOE Pharmacy is hosting its third charity fun run and walk, called the Rainbow Run, on Saturday at 7.30am, with a 5km route starting and ending at the pharmacy in Sixth Avenue, Walmer. The entry fee is R60 for adults and R20 for primary school pupils, and all entry fees will be donated to Bet Sheekoom and Animal Outreaches. The first 150 adult entrants will receive a goodie bag. THE NMMU Bird Street Art Gallery is hosting a photographic exhibition titled Between State of Emergencies. The exhibition, which opened last night, captures SA’s political landscape from 1985 to 1990 through images by Alf Khumalo, Rafs Mayet, Trevor Samson and 37 other photographers and journalists. View it from 9.30am to 3pm, on weekdays, until May 19.
