CONSEQUENCES TO DOING EVIL

FREEDOM Day: people should realise, as Nelson Mandela did, that the Bible does not discriminate between the believers and non-believers. As true believers, -isms should have no effect as we become one in Christ and God. He does, however, consider all people’s actions, whether evil or not, and there are and can be severe consequences.

Not all are believers, and many will hide behind unfair discrimination and -isms to justify themselves committing crime. If the tree and root are rotten, so are the fruit and the love of money motivates all evil. Putting up another useless wasteful statue – what does that help if values are not learned as many unsung heroes like missionaries, police and countless others have given their lives in bringing light and hope. SHOCKED AT PASTORS’ CONDUCT

I’M in shock about the sad news about popular pastors who pretend to be good shepherds and preach a gospel, but for their own benefit. I watched on TV a report on a pastor who was involved in human trafficking of young girls. Christians, it’s time to step up fasting and praying sincerely in these last end days. We need the men of God to preach good news and we need true worshippers. People who use the word of God for their own benefit will be exposed. God bless our land, Africa. VUYANI MKOKO, UITENHAGE

ELECT STRONG WORKING COMMITTEE

AS a member of the ANC in good standing and loyal, I want to appeal to members when electing the NEC NWC, we must elect a strong NEC NWC, not factions. N S KIBI, ETINARA
