All welcome; Sunday AM arranged men’s bowls (T James) and arranged mixed bowls (Y Barnes). Fines master: Chris Moller; Tuesday AM Grasshoppe­rs men’s arranged pair (Len Long). PM social mixed tabs-in bowls. All welcome. SUMMERWOOD: The next Summer Breeze Men’s Pairs event is on Tuesday afternoon. Club competitio­ns are under way. The Men’s Open Singles was won by Dido du Plessis. Visitors are welcome for social bowls, both men and women play on Saturday afternoons and Thursday mornings. There is also bowls for men on Monday afternoons and for women on Tuesday afternoons.

VICTORIA PARK: Wednesday: Social bowls from 3-5pm followed by bring and braai. Saturday: tabs-in 1pm for 1.30pm start.

UITENHAGE: The chicken and wine competitio­n was won by W Nell, P Minnie, N Plekker. S Naude and W Menezes won the IPC Ten. Raffles were won by S Terblanche and C Schady, JW Nell, P Minnie, N Plekker. Attendance draw on Thursday evening is now R1 350. Please diarise Saturday 20th May as we will be holding our prize-giving with a bowls competitio­n in the afternoon. Thursday 5pm, IPC Ten Drawn Pairs and Saturday at 1.30pm Levyvale SUPERSPAR Drawn Pairs, 21 ends. All members welcome.
