NOTHING HAS CHANGED IN METRO

AGREE with Michael (The Herald, May 15). Nothing has changed in delivery since the DA took over. Ordinary residents of the metro are getting poorer by the day. It is time the mayor and co look at their own expenditures. Fancy vehicles; exorbitant salaries; entertaining of metro companies at the Boardwalk, nogal. Residents of the metro should also check their meter readings for water usage. A lot of mistakes are being made with overcharging. So sick of “vote for DA” voting promises that we still have to see materialise. I will never vote again. SENIOR CITIZEN, PE

MUNICIPALITY NEEDS TO GET A SHOCK

I SEE residents face higher electricity tariffs. Can the municipality please tell us, after all the complaints and photos of illegal electricity connections in Community Street, or must we wait till somebody dies? Come on municipality, get a shock and wake up. LEON

JUSTICE MALALA FOR PRESIDENT

MONDAY’S article by Justice Malala regarding the frightening “circle of corruption in place” says it all so succinctly. The future of this country is indeed bleak with so many corrupt politicians carrying on with their cunning, devious “fingers in the till” behaviour. Cry the beloved country, indeed. Justice Malala should stand for president and save our economic souls! TONY WILD

GET RID OF THE RING LEADERS

GIVE PRIORITY TO FARM KILLINGS

RE “Get your priorities right (Herald)”. I’ll say. Every time a farmer is killed it should be splashed on the front page. FAIR PLAY

DEVICES STEALING OUR ELECTRICITY

NMBM, will you please take out the devices that you installed in our pre-paid boxes that you told us are controlling the geysers. Instead those devices are stealing our electricity. It’s worse than before so take them out. THE PAYER

PLEASE CLARIFY THE LAW ON SMOKING

PLEASE NMBM, clarify by publishing the municipal bylaws re smoking in public places. Having breakfast on a beautiful morning in Richmond Hill, the smokers on the verandah of the coffee shop in Raleigh Street exhaled disgusting smoke, filling the air. What is the law, NMBM? Take the owners to task on this. POLLUTED
