The winning design will be printed on a VW Kombi which will be used as the official Tavcor VW Kombi Service Shuttle.

Tavcor Volkswagen new car sales general manager Martin Taverner said: “This competition is a wonderful opportunity for pupils living in Nelson Mandela Bay to showcase their artistic skills and for their fine work to be showcased.”

He said the competition was aimed at junior and high school pupils, but also included an open category.

The theme of the competition is “Design a Coastal Kombi”.

The overall winner of the three categories (Junior, High School and Open) will receive R3 500 in prize money.

If won by a pupil, they will receive R2 000, and R1 500 for their school.

Only Eastern Cape residents are eligible to enter.
