VICTORIA Park High School ends
its production of Camelot tomorrow night in the Blake Hall, Victoria Park High School. The show is at 7pm tonight and tomorrow with an additional 2pm matinee tomorrow. ‘LAST NIGHT OF THE PROMS’
THE Last Night of the Proms are
this weekend at the Feather Market Centre in Port Elizabeth with popular classics featuring the Eastern Cape Philharmonic Orchestra, soloists, a massed choir and dancers, conducted by maestro Richard Cock. The theme this year is “The Great Entertainers” and the first concert is tomorrow at 5pm, and the second on Sunday at 3pm. Ticket prices range from R120 to R140 and are on sale at Computicket.
BEACH WALK
THE Sardinia Bay K9 Academy is holding its Beach Walk and Run at Sardinia Bay on Sunday, May 21, from 7.45am to noon. Meet in the parking lot. The 2.5km and 5km beach runs are open to dogs, but they are not permitted on the 6km, 10km and 15km events which go through the reserve. ‘ANNIE GET YOUR GUN’
BOOKINGS are now open for Port Elizabeth’s G&S Society’s musical Annie Get Your Gun which will run at the Savoy Theatre from Friday May 26 to June 10. Annie Get Your Gun tells the story of Annie Oakley, history’s greatest woman sharpshooter, who went from backwoods hunter supporting her four brothers and sisters to the star of Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show. PARKRUN IN PE
THERE are three parkruns in Port Elizabeth: PE Hobie Beach, Lady Slipper and Sardinia Bay. The parkrun is a 5km fun run at 8am every Saturday, which is free and open to all but if you want a time please register for a barcode at

ART on Target and Underculture Contemporary are hosting the Modern Miniatures National Exhibition at 2 Target Kloof, Essexvale, opening at 6pm on Tuesday. The exhibition will remain open
until June 10 and a selection of the work will travel to Grahamstown for the National Arts Festival before returning to Port Elizabeth for a special show at the GFI gallery in Park Drive.
