USE WATER THAT FLOWS INTO SEA

HAS our council ever thought of using the water running into the sea next to Continental and Eveready (in the channel)? There are thousands of litres of water being wasted. Remember we are in a drought. Please Mr Mayor, go have a look.

WILL THERE BE CREDIT ON OUR ACCOUNT?

REFUSE collection: can we expect a credit on our account as refuse was not collected in the Bloemendal area on Thursday May 25?

CORRUPTION STARTED WITH ZUMA

“CORRUPTION goes further than Zuma” (May 30): I think your editorial comment is way off the mark! Real corruption started with Jacob Zuma and can “start to end” with his removal from office, and prosecution for theft and treason!

HELL-BENT ON RETURNING METRO TO ANC

MONGAMELI Bobani is hell-bent on giving the metro back to the ANC. Perhaps he’s been promised the mayor’s position. He knows Bantu Holomisa is afraid to stop him.

TAKE ACTION ON TRAFFIC ISSUES

PLEA to our mayor: there are two retirement villages in Admiralty Crescent, Somerson and Walton Park. Each day there is an unending stream of cars and taxis going to the university from 7.30am, with the result that we cannot cross the intersection or turn left or right, which is dangerous to motorists and pedestrians. We would appreciate it if you could find time to inspect the situation. Traffic lights would solve the problem.

SELFISH taxi drivers: driving on the roadside at Ditchling Street in Algoa Park during morning hours is causing chaos. Can’t traffic officers be available every day?
