‘ANNIE GET YOUR GUN’

THE Gilbert and Sullivan Society presents the musical Annie Get Your Gun at the Savoy Theatre until Saturday June 10. It tells the story of Annie Oakley, history’s greatest female sharpshoot­er, who went from a backwoods hunter supporting her four brothers and sisters to the star of Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show. ART ON TARGET

ART on Target and Undercultu­re Contempora­ry are hosting the Modern Miniatures National Exhibition at 2 Target Kloof in Essexvale. The exhibition is open until June 10 and a selection of the work will travel to Grahamstow­n for the National Arts Festival before returning to Port Elizabeth for a special show at the GFI gallery in Park Drive. CHARITY LUNCH
