REPLIES TO READERS’ COMMENTS

WITH reference to Wendy Wienand’s letter on no response after 15 months for a worker injured on duty (“No response after 15 months”, June 1), I have been waiting since 2013 for workmen’s compensation. I have been handed over for medical expenses and I have even sent registered letters to the office, but no response. Is there anyone out there who can advise us what to do?

“IGNORE fine that arrives in post” (June 2): what about SMSes on your phone that you have an outstanding fine? Is that the new way of sending out fines?

“TAKE action on traffic issues” (June 1): driving through the KwaDwesi intersection is mayhem. This happens daily, worsening during peak hour. To the relevant parties, please do something. The congestion is making it difficult for cops to enter the police station.

SORT OUT PROBLEMS TOGETHER

QUITE A JUMP IN JOB DESCRIPTION

GOSH, that’s quite a jump from a “laser technician supervisor” (“Neckpiece dispute leads to suspension”, May 22) to an “engineer” (“Necklace-wearer cleared at hearing”, June 1). Only in SA journalism.
