AFRICAN Leopards regained their position at the top of the Pelfa Old Buck Legends soccer league on Wednesday with a resounding 8-1 win over Priory.

Leopards went into the match tied in second place with Hearts, a point behind Kuyga Masters, who remain the only unbeaten team in the league.

Masters dropped to third following the goalless draw with Shamrocks, who have now gone three matches without a win.

Hearts scored an easy 4-1 win over Old Grey to join Leopards at the top of the log. It was a disappointing performance by Grey after their 3-1 win over Shamrocks last week.

PE City, who were thumped 6-0 by Callies in their previous match, beat NMB Municipality 3-2.

Westpark, who picked up their first point last week when they drew 3-3 with fellow stragglers Priory, provided the shock of the round when they held Callies to a 2-2 draw.

Results:

Hearts 4 Old Grey 1, PE City 3 NMB Municipality 2, African Leopards 8 Priory 1, Shamrocks 0 Kuyga Masters 0, Westpark 2 Callies 2
