Use sea water to put out flames

-

WHY is sea water not used when putting out fires in coastal areas?

Correct me if I am wrong and it is used.

Was sea water pumped into the water trucks that brought extra water to the areas that were burning?

Do the helicopters that use buckets collect water from the oceans that are nearby?

Perhaps areas right next to or very close to the sea or beachfront should have fire hydrants that use water pumped from the oceans.

Even the fire trucks or water trucks that transport water to put out fires should use sea water.

Sea water may not be good for the pumps, storage tanks, etc on the fire trucks or water trucks, but it is much easier to drain the unused sea water and refill the trucks if the water has been unused for a certain time period or have some sort of filtering system on the pumps.

I know that salt in water can be dangerous in electrical fires and can also be dangerous to some trees and plant life, but when in a case of the terrible fires we have recently had and the water shortages, surely this can be an alternative.
