Two arrested for weekend murders

TWO people have been arrested for unrelated murders over the weekend.

At 2pm on Sunday, Mzolisi Xhanti, 51, was fatally stabbed after a tavern argument in KwaLanga, Uitenhage, police said. A man was arrested.

On Saturday, Neville Kettledas, 45, was stabbed to death in Joubertina, allegedly by his girlfriend, Yolande Louw.

Louw, 28, appeared in the Joubertina Magistrate’s Court yesterday and was remanded in custody until July 3 for a bail application. – Gareth Wilson
