TAB offers great betting chances

-

TAB will be providing some wonderful betting opportunities at Greyville’s two-day Gold Cup Festival Of Racing this weekend.

Firstly, there will be a TAB double on the two key feature races on the two days – the R1 million World Sports Betting Champions Cup (Grade 1) and the R1,25-million eLan Gold Cup (Grade 3) on Sunday.

There is one small difference. There will also be two consolation doubles paid out – the winner of the first leg with the second-placed horse in the second leg, and the second-placed horse in the first leg with the winner of the second. There will be 70 percent of the pool paid out for the full double and 15 percent to each of the consolation doubles.

Betting on the double opens at all TAB branches and tabonline.co.za today. Both meetings will have a carryover Pick 6. R1 million will be added to Saturday’s Greyville pool with a guaranteed pool of R3,5 million although the estimate is R4 million. On Sunday at the Gold Cup meeting, R1.75 million will kick off the Pick 6 and the estimate is R6 million with R5 million the guaranteed pool.

The Champions Cup will have R100 000 added to the Quartet pool with an estimate of R1,5 million while R300 000 will kick start the Gold Cup Quartet and that has an estimated pool of R3 million.

Also please note that TAB will pay five places on the Gold Cup!
