THE Barclays Whisky Whiteside Trophy will be played at Grahamstow­n Bowling Club. The draw for the Bridgeston­e Mixed Fours is to be published next week. A two-day Level A coaching course will be held on October 28 and 29 at Mill Park and the same course in Midlands on December 2 and 3. Any interested bowler who wishes to become a coach should read EP Circular 13 and follow the instructio­ns when applying. Closing date for entries is Friday. UITENHAGE: A music trivia is being held on Friday, September 22. Get a team together. Prior booking for catering purposes is essential. Curry and rice at R30 and chicken strips and chips for the youngsters at R25. There will also be a chocolate fountain. Summer bowling times are now in force. Tabs in by 1.30 for 2pm. The next session of the morning pairs will be played on Saturday, October 14. Raffles won by Ouboet, Wayne Menezes, Hugo, Anne and Mossie. Attendance draw total is R600. The IPS Pro-ten was won by Church van Niekerk and Marius van Huysteen. There are new bar opening times, please take note of the notice on board.
