We can all try to fix what’s not working

-

I READ an article online that said there were still 1.4 million hectares of land in the hands of government that had been bought as part of the land distribution programme since 1996.

Why is this land not given to the people it was intended for?

The government is hoarding all this land and then gives out false information to the masses. The question is why? The answer, in my opinion, is to create division and cause racial tension. That is all the ANC is good at. The ANC is not even pro-black, because the ANC is just for the ANC top brass.

According to the ANC government, the remaining white people in South Africa are still the reason the country is going backward.

How do you take a country that was great in every aspect, granted that it was mainly for whites, and not build on that to expand it so that this country becomes a greater country and everybody can benefit.

The ANC should stop mismanaging funds and start looking after the people of South Africa.

I am not a DA fan, but with all its faults, and there are quite a few, it knows what it is doing and how to do it. Just look at Port Elizabeth with the DA and the coalition partners.

People are complaining about high property rates and other issues, but these people should stop complaining.

Yes, I also don’t like paying those rates, but I get good services for my money.

Stop wanting and demanding everything free and pay your way.

Yes, there is still and there will be a lot of work to be done for a very long time, especially in the townships, but if the ANC was still in charge of the metro, the only thing that would have been done is talk about BEE and how many jobs it will create in the next 20 years, and only worrying about their own pockets.

In my opinion, there are a lot of young black middle-class people waking up to realise that we need to work together in this country.

I don’t know if we are past that point of fixing this country, but at least we can try.
