Motwana and Mfunzi both triumph again

FOR the second consecutiv­e week, Andile Motwana (Tinarha) and Ntombesint­hu Mfunzi (Nedbank) pocketed the winner’s purse in an EPA road race.

They led their respective categories home in the Uitenhage Street Carnival 10km race on Saturday.

Last week, Motwana and Mfunzi won the Vukani Mukti Sport 15km race which started and ended at the Victoria Park Sports Club.

On Saturday, Motwana beat Amos Nyongo (Ikhamva) with a time of 30:20.

For the second time in two weeks, Mfunzi beat Ndileka Mvakwendlu (Tinarha) into second place with a time of 37:35. Motwana and Mfunz won R1 000 each.
