CREATIVE BLOCK

THE Creative Block and ceramics by Ayanda Mji are on show at the GFI Art Gallery in Park Drive. There is also a permanent collection of Ron Belling paintings on display upstairs in the gallery, which is open from 10am until 4pm on weekdays and on Saturday and religious holidays from 10am until 1pm. VALLEY MARKET

THE first Valley Market of 2018 is this weekend on Saturday from 9am to 2pm at the Tramways Building, Baakens Valley. Enjoy a range of food from Indian curries and gourmet burgers to organic vegetables and artisanal chocolate. The market also offers a well-equipped children’s entertainm­ent area with jumping castles, soft play and many other creative activities. NAL’IBALI READING CLUB

NAL’IBALI will restart its Ilunda Reading Club next week on Tuesday January 16.
