VALENTINE’S CABARET

ROMANCE is in the air with the Gilbert and Sullivan Society’s Valentine’s Cabaret from Wednesday to Saturday at the Savoy Theatre. Rose Cowpar directs, with Angela Freer in charge of vocal direction. The shows are at 7.30pm from Wednesday to Friday, with a 2pm matinee on Saturday. Tickets are R80, or R600 for a table of eight for evening shows and R60 for the Saturday matinee. VALENTINE’S DANCE

MEMORIES Dance Club is having a Valentine’s Dance on Wednesday at 168 Circular Drive in Lorraine at 7pm for 7.30pm. Chinese food will be served including Hong Kong chicken, Chinese meal spring rolls, and chow mein. Local artists Trevor and Charlie will be performing. Tickets are R60. Bookings are essential. SUMMER LIVE

CORUS and AdLib Entertainm­ent are presenting a Summer Love Valentine’s Day concert at the NMU Bird Street Campus on Wednesday at 7.30pm. The band will include vocals by Courtney Courus, Curtis Kettledas on the saxophone, Wesley Keet on keyboards, Elviro Vrolik on bass and Bevin Maschaka on drums.
