- Mogan Segadavan segadavanm@tisoblackstar.co.za

THE Lake Farm Centre will be the beneficiary of Saturday's 24km Big Tree Training Run.

Runners will start at Lake Farm and run to Maitlands and back. Unlike other runs, there will be a mass start at 5.30am.

The entry fee is R70 and all proceeds will go to the centre.

Refreshment stations on the route will be manned by Rotary and Brian Brands.

As this is not an official race, club colours are not required.

Participants can enter at sports shops or online on www.lakefarm.org.za

There will be a lucky draw after the run.

The Hope for Children is part of the Evangelism Explosion International which has been hosted in South Africa since 1967.
