Cliffs Of Dover to lead to profits

-

London - Cliffs Of Dover was a ready winner last time out and can double up today in the

Betway Stayers Handicap at Lingfield. A very useful juvenile hurdler a couple of years ago, this Paul Nicholls-trained gelding was forced to miss the whole of 2017, returning at Wincanton last month, where he was pulled up in the Kingwell Hurdle won by Elgin.

Nicholls switched him to the level a couple of weeks ago, where he won with some authority under the trainer's daughter, Megan, who made full use of her 2kg claim in giving the five-year-old a smart ride and is on him again.

On that evidence, there is no reason why he should not win again on the Flat, before possibly going to Aintree or the like.

World Of Good can live up to her name for her backers in division one of the Play Starburst Slot At sunbets.co.uk/vegas Handicap.

Formerly with Anabel Murphy, this five-year-old made a winning start for Olly Murphy over this 1400m trip at Wolverhampton last month, responding well to pressure to beat Ad Vitam by a length, having taken a strong hold through the early stages.

This Danehill Dancer mare remains feasibly handicapped and the drop back to this distance from 1600m seems to have been to her liking. There might be a bit more for Murphy to work with just yet.

Beautiful Memory continues to go from strength to strength and is very hard to oppose in the 32Red. com Novice Stakes.

This Saeed bin Suroor-trained filly showed promise in two 1400m juvenile outings and it has been no surprise at all to see her run out a very easy winner on both her starts this year, where she has relished the step up to 2000m.

Last month's course and distance victor Sayesse gets on well with Callum Shepherd and can go in again in the Play For Free At sunbets.co.uk/vegas Handicap for Cheltenham Festival-winning trainer Mick Channon.

Cyrus Darius has already been a star for Ruth Jefferson in her short career as a trainer and the talented, but injury-prone, gelding can do the business in the Johnston Of Elgin Scottish Cashmere Handicap Hurdle at Kelso.

This nine-year-old gave Jefferson her first winner after she took over the reins at Newstead Cottage Stables in Malton on the death of her father, Malcolm, last month.

That success came on this course in the Morebattle Hurdle and looks to have every chance of giving weight all round over this longer trip of 4000m
