This article speaks for itself, and brings to attention and prominence the wonderful accomplishments of our municipality under the brilliant leadership of mayor Athol Trollip over the past year!

TALENT LOST TO SA

ON Sunday morning I put the TV on to watch the cricket test between England and New Zealand. Neil Wagner, Afrikaanse Hoër Seunskool, was bowling to Dawid Malan, Paarl Boy’s High, who let the ball go through to wicketkeeper BJ Watling, born in SA and moved to New Zealand when he was 10. I wonder just how much talent SA has lost, both sporting and intellectual, due to the ANC’s policies?
