Pitso and Sundowns deserved it

-

WELL done to Sundowns for clinching the Absa Premiership title and coach Pitso Mosimane deserves it again, as the players are highly committed and also playing very entertaining football.

I put my money on Orlando Pirates as they had a great opportunity to close the gap, but unfortunately it did not work out.

Pitso is a very good coach and it gives other local coaches the confidence that our local talent should be respected given all the resources and opportunities, as I do not believe in foreign coaches a lot.

Turning now to my own team (Chiefs), I would like to condemn the violence that took place at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

The supporters could have utilised other measures to channel their grievances – as the team will now be charged for bringing the name of the PSL into disrepute.

This (violence) could have been avoided if Chiefs management had listened to the grievances of the club’s fans after losing the premier league match against Chippa United. Chiefs should now go back to the drawing board and get rid of all old players and introduce young talented players to the team. Once more, I am very grateful that Steve Komphela decided to resign as coach as he was not delivering at all and should have quit a long time ago.

I am hearing rumours that Doctor Khumalo might go back home (to Chiefs ) and he knows our players very well and will add value, even if he is made assistant coach and earmarked or groomed to be the new coach for Amakhosi.

Well done Sundowns.
