Peace reign as Two for Joy thrashed 9-0

YOUNG Cosmos maintained a slender lead in the Wafa Premier League at the weekend despite losing 2-0 to Golden Heroes on Sunday. Heroes trail Cosmos by one point. On Saturday, Cosmos beat Walmer Hotspurs 3-0.

There was no joy for Two For Joy, who were hammered 9-0 by Peace United.

Morning Stars beat Airport Valley City 4-0 to move into third place, three points behind the log leaders.

The match between tailenders Mabayibone Strikers and Eleven Experience was called off after organisers failed to find the key to the Walmer High School field.

Central Acemates, who scored an excellent 2-0 win over Callies last week, should be on the winning side once again when they play Priory.

The defeat saw Callies drop to third on the log.

Callies should get back on the winning trail when they take on Westpark, who are just one place away from the bottom of the log.
