Mission a bastion of hope for less for tunate

-

I WISH to share the heartwarming personal experience of one of my less fortunate family members and his wife as shelter residents at Vistarus Mission Station, in Sydenham.

Prior to their acceptance, and being provided with shelter and care within Vistarus, they were homeless and lived on the streets.

Both have chronic health problems.

The turnaround in their lives has been nothing short of miraculous, over the past three-month period.

The love and compassion displayed by founders Kobus and Lynette Jacobs to me epitomises the true meaning of Christianity, brotherly love and compassion.

As a direct result thereof, and with the security and generous support provided within this mission station, my family members’ personal dignity has been restored, and the turnaround in their physical and emotional wellbeing is unimaginable.

Based on the above personal experience and exposure to the excellent philanthropic support provided by this mission station, and its generous food and clothing donors, who deserve equal praise and recognition, I earnestly appeal to all potential public donors.

Consider this institution, for future financial and other donations.

Keep up the excellent work, Kobus and Lynette.

You are true Christians, who live the word, via positive deeds and actions
