Fresh accreditation for Rhodes MBA
THE Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme at the Rhodes University business school in Grahamstown has been approved for a further three years.
This follows an assessment by the international accreditation advisory board of the Association of MBAs (AMBA) – which accredits programmes from the top 2% of business schools in more than 70 countries.
The course was previously accredited in 2015.
Rhodes business school director Professor Owen Skae said: “We are very proud that the Rhodes business school continues to be regarded as one of the top business schools in the world.
“We appreciate AMBA’s endorsement of our authenticity in our commitment to ethical leadership and sustainability.”
According to a statement by the university, AMBA’s assessment acknowledged positive changes at the business school over the past three years.
The school also developed a number of partnerships with other academic institutions, including the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia, the International Business School Americas in Brazil, the City Business School in Moscow, and most recently the Montpellier Business School in France, which was finalised in January this year. – Herald Reporter
