Stars’ three-match unbeaten run was halted last weekend when they lost by the same margin to Eluhewini Ladies.

The loss was the Port Elizabeth side’s sixth setback this season. They are 12th on the log with seven points from nine matches.

Meanwhile, for Cumakala the win was the first three-pointer they collected this season after struggling to get maximum points in previous games.

Cumakala have now moved up to 14th position on the log with six points.

Thunderbirds Ladies are top of the log after beating Sophakama Ladies 2-0. The victory also saw the East London side continue with their unbeaten run in the league.

They have won all eight of their matches and are level on points with New Brighton side City Lads, who dropped to second place, but Thunderbirds are above them due to a better goal difference.

The game between Manchester Babes and Birmingham City was postponed.
