ART EXHIBITION
The Nelson Mandela University’s Bird Street Gallery is opening Intersection 100/135, a National Arts Festival 2018 Fringe exhibition, tonight at 6pm. The exhibition celebrates 135 years of creativity, commentary and art-making by the NMU department of visual arts, with selected works by undergraduate and graduate students. KIRKWOOD WILDSFEES
The SPAR Kirkwood Wildsfees 2018 theme is “Born to be Wild” and the annual festival takes place in Kirkwood from tomorrow till Sunday. It opens at 9am and will have more than 350 stalls, Christmas in July at Santa’s workshop, as well as live music on the Wildsfees stage. There will be a Kidz Zone, the Walk on the Wildside experience, a “skaapkop langtafel”, mohair expo, cooking demonstrations, wine stalls, as well as agricultural, new car and outdoor expos.
