The Ancient History Society of Port Elizabeth is presenting a lecture on Tuesday from 7pm at the Italian Club, Harold Road, in Charlo. Garth Elzerman will talk on The Dawn of Humankind – Our Great Journey. Entrance is free. Donations are welcome. Dinner of pasta and wine is R50. Booking for dinner is essential.

NIGHT OF MUSIC

ORGAN RECITAL
The Feather Market Organ Society will present an organ recital by Hungarian organist Laszlo Almasy on Thursday at the Feather Market Centre at 1pm. VIDEO MORNING

WOMEN’S EVENT
The beautiful St Augustine’s Cathedral is hosting Voices from the Heart, a well-known female choir from the United States, on Thursday at 2.30pm at the church, which is situated at 2 Prospect Hill, in Central. The choir will sing a rich mix of soulful music from many cultural and musical traditions and will be joined by four Nelson Mandela Bay choirs.
