Why would Russians want Trump?

-

Two points, regarding The Herald articles.

First, correspondent Paul Handley’s article on the Mueller inquiry into Russian supposed meddling in America’s election (“Boost for Mueller inquiry”, August 23). Think about it.

How would the Russians get people to change their votes?

Phone up individuals and threaten them?

Hack into the system and alter the count (the Democrats got more individual votes in the 2016 US presidential election than the Republicans).

Why would the Russians want Donald Trump, according to the mainstream media “a loose cannon”, in before Hillary Clinton, who would be a lot easier to deal with?

She incidentally blatantly lied before a congressional hearing and passed on confidential e-mails on unsecured lines, and also as secretary of state exchanged jobs/tenders for multi-million contributions to the Clinton Foundation.

Why would the Russians want either of them?

To date not one shred of concrete evidence has come forth.

The fact that two people who worked for Trump have been convicted of something else has nothing to do with Russia.

If a lawyer friend of mine steals from his clients’ funds, am I also guilty?

Second, Jonathan Jansen, who most of the time seems reasonably balanced in his views, has now also jumped on the “bashing colonialists (read white)” band wagon.

It should be apparent to any unbiased observer that no matter where you go or what you do in this country, you are served by blacks, in shops, banks, government departments, municipalities, airports, wherever – nothing wrong with this, it’s merely the demographics of the country.

If I look at the formerly white schools from the ‘60s, there were approximately 350 to 600 white pupils in each school.

With perhaps two exceptions those schools now have between 50 and 100 white pupils each.

In other words, the white population is disappearing fast.

One can also just look at the sport clubs, etc.

The whites are now about 8% of the population, an ageing, declining, insignificant part of the country.

For goodness sake, stop blaming us and get a life.
