JAZZ’AFRO
Jazz’Afro Sundays at the PE Opera House presents saxophonist Winston Peterson and vocalist Linda Tsoana in a Heritage Month series of jazz concerts at the Barn Theatre. The show is at 5pm on Sunday and tickets are R70 (R50 for pensioners).

ABBA AGAIN

NMU CONCERT
Nelson Mandela University presents the Jazz Scholarship concert on Thursday at South Campus Auditorium at 7.30pm. The concert features Temba Ncetani, Linathi Nkonyeni, Robert Gilmer, Brendon Bekker, Chester Summerton and Elviro Vrolik. Admission is R50 for adults, R30 pensioners, R20 students and pupils.

VICTORY RACEWAY
Victory Raceway will host the regional championship on Friday (it was postponed from last weekend due to the heavy rains). Gates open at 2pm and racing starts at 7pm. Admission is R50 for adults and R20 for children under 13. Track parking is R20 per vehicle. Inquiries: Maggie, 082-656-8830.
UNATHI SINGS
Singer, television and radio personality Unathi Msengana brings Brave, True & Strong at the Boardwalk in Summerstrand on Saturday September 15. She also performs in two benefit concerts for Rhodes University students on Thursday and Friday. Msengana’s performance at Rhodes is from 7-9pm on September 13 and from 5.30 to 8pm on September 14.
