BRAVO TO JUDGE CHETTY

Bravo to judge Dayalin Chetty for giving an appropriate and much deserved sentence to perlemoen poacher Morne Blignaut (“Lengthy jail term for perly kingpin”, September 20). Judge Chetty has done a magnificent job over many years as a high court judge and will be much missed when he retires in the near future. JC

EP KINGS

EP Kings: I agree with Rugby fan (“Not sustainable”, September 19). They will have a clean sheet the entire season, not one win. Out of interest, did they win a game last season? SPORTS FAN The Kings won one game last season, against the Dragons. – The editor Why spend millions on these gritty, rusty Kings? Rather spend this money to uplift our people, the poor and the needy. This will be a wonderful, aweinspiring investment. THEO The new investors of the Kings need to consider a complete change in coaching staff. The present lot are only good at excuses and have been given enough time to sort the basics out. SPECTATOR

LORRAINE, LINTON GRANGE, PORT ELIZABETH We have added the predicted weather to the map, as requested. – The editor

ALL WANT FREEBIES

Being a visitor to the friendly city, I was shocked at the editor’s reply to a reader querying “No review for ABBA” (September 14). No free tickets, no review! Typical of SA, we all want freebies. BOB CUMMINS, KEMPTON PARK
