HOMEOPATHY TALK AT U3A

The University of the Third Age will meet at 10am on Tuesday in the Newton Park Library Auditorium. Dr Chiquita Vosloo will give a talk titled “An Introducti­on to Homeopathy”. Visitors: R20.

AFRIKAANS COMEDY

CHINESE CULTURAL FEST

The PE Opera House in associatio­n with Chengdu Moral Culture Communicat­ion Company, the Chengdu Xindu Martial Art and Sport Associatio­n and Chengdu Mulan Middle School present a China-South Africa mini cultural festival on Wednesday on the main stage of the Opera House from 3pm. Entry is free.

CRAFT SALE

The Nelson Mandela University music department presents a lunch-hour concert on Wednesday at the South Campus Auditorium. Lecturers and ensemble leaders John Edwards and Curtis Kettledas will perform along with students. Entrance is free.

XHOSA FASHION AND DESIGN

The exhibition The Mother Tongue: The Influence of Traditiona­l Xhosa Fashion on Contempora­ry Design, opens at the Nelson Mandela Metropolit­an Art Museum on Friday September 28. It features the museum’s collection of traditiona­l Southern Nguni beadwork and textiles alongside works by designer Laduma Ngxokolo. The exhibition closes in March 2019.

ART ON MAIN AT MOFFETT CENTRE
