● The Kevin and Michal Abraham Off The Wall Exhibition and silent auction opens at Art on Target at 6pm on Tuesday and will run until November 17, with artists who include Greg Kerr, Derrick Erasmus, Alida Bothma, Theresa Hardman, Edgar Pretorius, BA Moolman, Lynnley Watson and many more. ● The GFI Art Gallery is opening a solo exhibition by Thembaleth­u Manqunyana on Wednesday at 6pm, titled Western African Ideology, and inspired by the work of Picasso and Jean-Michel Basquiat. The gallery is at 30 Park Drive in Central and is open from 10am to 4pm (weekdays) and from 10am to 1pm (Saturdays and public holidays).

● Part One of When We Were There, a solo exhibition by Joff (Steven Carter), opens at Ark, 68 Upper Valley Road in the Baakens Valley at 7pm on Wednesday. This will be followed by a musical performanc­e on the same theme by Joff (vocals and guitar), Bones (Bass), Tom Collins (drums), James Collins (synth), Jean du Toit (vocals) and Nikolaas du Plooy (cello) on November 13. PARKINSON’S SUPPORT GROUP

The final meeting of the Parkinson’s Support Group for 2018 will be held on Thursday at St John’s Anglican Church Hall on the corner of Church Road and Eighth Avenue in Walmer. Mark Mousley will be the guest speaker.

NMU RECITAL

The original Christmas Shop will be hosting Father Christmas in the store at Baywest Mall on Saturday and Sunday until start of December from 10.30am to 3pm. The shop is at Entrance 3, upper level. Take your own photo for a donation to CHOC children’s cancer charity.
