Does ANC get away with just paying back money?

- J Summerstrand, Port Elizabeth

Now that the ANC has been found out (read “exposed”), regarding the “secret” donations it received from VBS Bank through the holding company, Vele, it agrees to pay the money back. Is that all?

Does it get away with this, just like that? How many other lies has it told?

And how many of its crooks are jail-bound? Transparency? Bah! What about all the lies it has [allegedly] told regarding this? Is there no sanction, no punishment?

And how are we doing in prosecuting the other thieves and liars who are in political leadership positions?

Thank goodness the various arms of the media relentlessly dug to find out these things. They’re doing a great job.

It’s often difficult to unearth the truth, because these people carefully cover for each other – “collectively”!

Recently someone told me he doesn’t watch the news, nor does he read newspapers, because there’s only bad news. This is the ostrich headin-the-sand approach.

If news is bad but true, we need to know it, because we – the citizens – need to do something about it.

We thank you, media houses, for the good news and we thank you even more for the bad news.

(Then we can do our part to bring bad stuff to an end – even just by our vote against these thieves.)

It’s up to us as good citizens to support your endeavours, by joining you, to put an end to all the bad things which are going on.

By the way: what is happening regarding all the issues which were revealed by Crispian Olver in his book, How to Steal a City?
