HEALTH AND WELLNESS

Medical Assistance JBay Trauma Support Centre: Petrol is supplied monthly in order for the traumatolo­gist to get to people experienci­ng trauma and crisis situations. Healthy Mom and Baby Clinic: Medical equipment for their mobile clinic, a small fridge and a new desk will be purchased. Senior Citizens Clubs King Jesus Internatio­nal Ministry: Sports equipment, games and material to assist in craft projects involving woodwork, crocheting and knitting will be purchased. Jongilanga Service Centre: Groceries will be purchased monthly. Protea Community Centre: Sewing machine, material, pliers, wool and other materials will be purchased to assist in the making of wire cars, crafts, knitting and sewing initiative­s. Soup Kitchens Sewende Laan Soup Kitchen: Monthly groceries are supplied. Joykids Internatio­nal: Milk is supplied on a monthly basis. Bet-El Revival Centre: Monthly groceries are supplied. Clothes, blankets, stationary will be purchased to support children living on the street who attend school at the drop-in centre run by Joshua Project. Shekinah Soup Kitchen: Milk, sugar and maize are supplied on a monthly basis in order to provide breakfast to children passing by on their way to school. Meals-on-Wheels Community Service: Two water catchment tanks were purchased and installed which will assist in the irrigation of their vegetable garden.

EDUCATION

Kate van der Merwe Pre-Primary: The old school was demolished and a brand new school built which opened its doors in 2017. The company does regular building maintenanc­e. Kleine Engele Dagsorg: Two water catchment tanks were purchased and installed. Their vegetable garden provides an opportunit­y for teaching young children about plants from an early age. Haasbekkie­s Daycare: Two water catchment tanks were purchased and installed. During water cut-off periods, the daycare will have access to running water. Web beds, which are easy to clean and more hygienic than mattresses, will be purchased. Angels Daycare Centre: An A4 Laminator, four small tables and 20 chairs will be purchased. Madiba Bay Crèche: Educationa­l supplies will be purchased. Dienkie Dot: A water catchment tank was purchased and installed which will assist in the irrigation of the school’s garden and provide running water during water cut-off periods. Child Welfare SA Humansdorp: School apparel and school shoes will be purchased in January in time for the 2019 school year. Pink Panther Daycare: Two cots, two feeding chairs and ten web mattresses will be purchased. Kate van der Merwe Crèche: Web beds, paint and paint brushes will be purchased.
