WESSA CLEAN UP

Wessa Algoa Bay Branch will clean up the area around Walmer High School in Gqebera on Saturday. The school is about 200m from the Heugh Road and Ninth Avenue Walmer intersecti­on and the clean-up is from 9.30 to 10.30am. Wessa will supply litter bags but bring water, gloves – if you have them – and hats.

DIGBY AND THE LULLABY

Bay singer songwriter­s Digby and the Lullaby will perform at the Acoustic Cafe at the Victoria Hotel on Friday November 16 in Makhanda (Grahamstow­n), followed by another

show in Nieu Bethesda on Sunday December 2 at Die Waenhuis. Tickets are R100 (students R40) for Friday’s show at 8pm. They are R180 for the 4pm show at Die Waenhuis, which includes canapés and a glass of fizz.
