Victory finally for Swartkops Valley

Swartkops Valley United Brothers have broken their three-match winless deadlock in the ABC Motsepe League, beating Future Tigers 2-1 on Saturday at the Motherwell NU2 Stadium.

Prior to the weekend success, the last time the Motherwell side were able to bag three points was in October when they beat Matta Milan 2-0.

Subs are seventh on the log with 14 points from nine matches. They have four wins , two draws and three defeats so far this season.

Meanwhile, Peace Makers bagged their second consecutiv­e win in the league in beating log leaders Amavarara on Saturday, at the Dumpy Adams Stadium in Komani.

The victory comes straight after a 4-2 success against struggling Birmingham.

Makers will be hoping to continue their good run in the league. They are ninth on the log with 12 points from nine matches.

PE Stars also managed to bag three points at the weekend after struggling to clinch a win in three matches.

They beat Matta Milan 1-0 to increase their winning tally in the league so far to three games.

Stars are eighth on the log with 13 points from nine games.

Sibanye missed out on an opportunit­y to top the log table when they played to a goalless draw against Tornado FC at the weekend.
